Pitched up and looking remarkably windless and flat, but could see that it was slightly offshore. The clouds were doing spectacular things going from Sunny to storm black and the wind steadily built throughout the afternoon. Stuck with my big kit depite being overpowered quite a bit of the time, purely becuase I was conscious of the short daylight hours. Had half an hour or so at dusk which was weird - fleuro bits of the sail suddenly very bright and surreal.

Also had a chuckle watching Carl the jetskier go to tow his machine up the beach but his mate forgot to tie it on!! The only jetskiers I've met who are decent and considerate and allround good people
